Urgent Warning!

I got this email from my cousin and I thought i would pass it on to you:

Aliens are coming to Earth on Friday and their mission
is to abduct all the goodlooking sexy people.

You will be safe, but I'm just blogging to say goodbye

finally FINALLY

So my last blog rant was about Russel Hantz FINALLY being voted off survivor, but with this season, it was not quite over yet...there was still...DUN DUN DUN...REDEMPTION ISLAND!

Russell and Matt had to compete in a dual to see who would stay at Redemption Island and who would be out for good.

lets just quickly recap last week:

Russell's team wanted him gone so badly that they threw the challenge in order to vote him off.

Russell gets completely blindsided by his team and is kicked to Redemption Island (in my opinion--exactly what Russell deserves and completely spites him for not knowing and being the "mastermind" of the game of Survivor)

Russell thought that it was Francesca that he would be going against in a dual, but no it was really Matt (young and fit) could beat Russell any day.

SOANYWAYS....that brings us to last nights episode:

Russell vs. Matt in the Ring

Russell thinks Matt will syke himself out because he is going against the mighty Russell Hantz. Very humble of Russell to think this way (lol). Matt is very calm. Matt has the Lord.

It was a tight match. Head to head working at making a domino line with blocks of wood to knock all the way to the end and break their tile. I'm cheering for Matt, but Russell was not far behind. Matt gets his all lined up...but it was a bit short and only half knocked down. He had to rebuild half. Russell now in the lead gives his line a go. His gets a bit farther...and...and..

and SUDDENLY..**POWER OUTAGE***

flickers back on "Turn the TV on Turn it on!"

Whats going to happen?!

...When we get the TV back on, one of the competitor's line of wooden dominoes is on its way to victory. Wasn't positive whos it was...but then...I heard the sweet words:

MATT WON THE CHALLENGE AGAINST RUSSELL. RUSSELL GOES HOME!

*JUMPS UP AND DOWN*

Then the most shocking thing happened:

Russell Hanz..possibly the most evil competitors to ever play the game of survivor, one that I have spent COUNTLESS times ranting over and over about...YES this is RUSSELL:

Russell began to bawl his eyes out!

Maybe he finally realized that he was never going to win the game of Survivor

Maybe he felt like a fool

Maybe he was embarrassed to be voted out of the game

Maybe all of THEE above

SO HAPPY!

Man. Such a great episode!

"Thats so INTENSE!"

Have you ever heard someone say "Thats so Intense!"
and someone else replies..."JUST LIKE CAMPING!"

Sometimes the person stands there and puzzles..."Like camping??"Maybe they stand there and chuckle to themsleves but really don't get it, or maybe the person actually laughs because they actually get the joke:

Its Intense like camping is IN-TENTS
Therefore several things are Intense/In-Tents

The Circus, Outdoor weddings, Tent cities...etc...etc...

SOANYWAYS....I have come up with the most INTENSE-IN-TENTS sentence (try saying that ten times fast)...Here it is... (its pretty in tents):

The Intensities of the Intense In-Tent Tent Cities

WOAHHHH. Maybe that was too Intense for you and you'll just stick with a trailer.

The Bored Board

Mom: "Whats that board doing there?"

Me: "Its Bored"

Say No to Drugs

I was babysitting on Friday, a 3 and 5 year old. When getting ready for bed, I told the kids they could pick out a book to read. The five year old runs to get a Dr Suess book from upstairs. The three year old stays downstairs and is rummaging through a drawer. Her little hands come out with a book in hand, the title: "Say No to Drugs".

With a big smile she looks at me and hands me the book. I smile and take the book. On the table in front of me sat a beautiful Dora book. Although my pronunciation in Spanish is quite poor, I decided we would read Dora instead of "Say No to Drugs". It was a bit more aimed to the level of a three year old. :)

FINALLY!!!

After a rough Chem test today.
I finally sat down to watch Survivor! And Survivor did not disappoint!

So starting the episode, I knew that it was going to be intense because my mom told me it was "rant worthy":

It started off at Redemption Island. There was a dual between Francesca and Matt. There were 2 people from each tribe that got to go observe. After being way behind, Matt won. The two observers from Russell's team decided to tell Russell that Francesca really won.

I thought "was this the intense part? or is there more to come??"
O theres more to come...

Then during the challenge, the 6 way alliance (versus Russell and his two girls) decided to throw the challenge so they would for sure loose and be able to vote Russell out. Russell was scrambling to get another person in his possy.
Fail Russell. FAIL.

Best quote of the tribal counsel: "We got some fat on this tribe that we need to trim off"
I laughed. Well said. Well said.

Russell voted out.. "Bring me your torch"
FINALLLY!!

"I'll be back, and be ready"
Please no. I just really don't like the way he plays "his game"

To Russell's surprise, when he arrives at Redemption Island it is not Fran like they told him, it was really Matt there awaiting him, and now all I have to say is:

"GO MATT!"
